Joined in September 1966 and was in 10 squad, 2 coy. in Tournai Barracks. If I remember correctly Sgt. Allen was actually in charge of us although L/Comical Smudge Smith thought he was !
Posted to 5 Inf. Wksps. REME in Dortmund then an Ordnance Depot in Muharraq and finally to 'heaven on earth' - 25 Married Families Hostel Westbourne in Hampshire where the army and I finally parted company!!
