Hi to all the ex & still serving military chefs.
My name is Phill Rushton, I was in intake 2/81 Scarisbrick Platoon, A Coy.
It would be good to hear from anyone who knows or remembers me !!!
It would also be nice to know what happened to "MR BEASTIE" (Any ex member from 2/81 will know what I'm on about !!!!). Grin

Hello Yorkie, Yes It's "Batman" from the days with the Life Guards / Blues & Royals 1983-1986 at Lothian Barracks in sunny Detmold (more like "Wetmold"). Nice to hear from you, how are you keeping Huh??

Am good thanks, surviving up in York.  Got out in 05 and been here since.  How's yourself doing?  Was talking to Stu Eagles a while since, still chefing down in Tidworth area somewhere, haven't owt from Bizz tho, have you?

LOL Yorkie, I was being polite, but think we are talking to the one and the same, so hiya Phil, glad to hear your doing well.  I have noticed a huge amount of traffic from b coy guys but limited from old A coy guys,

Sorry For Not Replying Sooner. Hope You Are Both Keeping Well....
I Have been Out Of The Army Since Feb 1995 ("Copped" A Compulsory On The Phase 2 (?) Redundancy's). I Am, At The Moment, The Head Chef Of The Junior Rank,s Mess At SAAvn (School Of Army Aviation) At Middle Wallop And I Live In Salisbury, Wiltshire With My Wife Of 17 Years, Mandy & My 14 Year Old Son Samuel, (Plus 3 Cat's & 1 Jack Russell)...
By The Way The Last Time I Saw Biz Was When I Got Posted To 94 Locating Regt RA in Larkhill in 1989 (Believe It Or Not I Was Joe Maggs Replacement, Remember Him???), I Think Biz Was Married To A German Lass And He Was Posted To Germany A Couple Of Weeks After I Arrived...
I Still Wear Glasses, And Yes They Are Still Like Bear Bottle Bottom's, Although They Are More Trendy These Days.........LOL

Hi Phil, i am not a million miles away, i am in Taunton now. I have been thinking about trying to get a get a coy together at some point, the more the merrier you up for that, you are the first person i have had contact with, so if number are poor if may just be a tandem to the pub lol.
