I want to put a history together for my Dad's time during the war for his grandson's 40th birthday (they share a birthday) and don't know where to start. I would have liked to have shown dates and places he had been etc. I have seen his Army pay book showing he transferred to the ACC in Dec 1942 but was classified as a cook non tradesman in Nov 1941. On demobilisation his last unit served was 5 INF DIV ORD FD PK RAOC.

Any ideas anyone, I would love to do this for him and all the grandchilden.
