Stop Press.
A furtive figure was qpprehended by Custom Officers at Heathrow Airport for attempting to smuggle a quantity of the Chinese delicacy, 'One Hundred Year Old Eggs' into the country.
When questioned, he explained, they added a whole new dimension to the meaning of drinking a pint of Guinness.
Welcome home Scotty, I trust your holiday was a success.

G'Day John,

Sadly most of China is still 30 years behind when it comes to hotels and food.  Unless it's 5 Star expect to live on noodles!  Hong Kong as always was a pleasure to go to............unfortunately not for long enough this trip ;D

Heya Ian,
Bit of a bummer having to live on that tucker for ten days. Never mind, I expect the lads will welcome you back with open arms and soon rustle you up a good old Pommie feed of savoury mince
Must admit I don't mind noodles or rice me self. Guess I have been over here too long. Might even go down to the Frying Dragon and get me a nosh of fried cockroaches and noodles for tea if they haven't sold out.
