Hi Ian E Scott, Paul Raven,

Could you check if your signature appears on the list, Have you clicked the link sent to you in an email from the .GOV site to authorise your signature.

AS of today we have only 637 signatures, For this to be taken seriously it has to be in the thousands.
There is only 27 days left to try and reach those kind of figures.

Thanks for your support.

Hi Pitbull,

Just to let you know that I was called by the Secretary of the Falklands Pilgrimage 2007, John Phillips last Tuesday and was asked if I was still available and would I like to go on the reserve list, which I said yes and was placed 2nd on the list. I received another call from John last night to say that I am now on the flight. So after all this time I am managing to get back and pay my respects.

Regards

Paul

Ian, Pitbull, Brian,

Thanks for the comments. I will be laying a wreath and saying my prayers for our lads that we lost, at the Welsh Guards memorial at Fitzroy.

I will post the pictures of my time down there on the site as requested.

Regards

Paul

I have just received notice that as of yesterday the 10th April 2008 the cost of an indulgence passage to the Falkland Islands has increased from £55.00p to £75.00p oneway, thus making the round trip £150.00p.

Now that is still very good value compared to the duty rate of £1250.00p which is what the Islanders pay.
