I have been asked to post this message, A son is looking for any infomation or help about his dad.

I was wondering if you point me in the right direction; as to where I might find further information.
My Father continued service with the ACC in Palestine after the end of the war in Europe, in 1945 he served from July 1945 to February 1946.  Toward the end of this deployment he ended up in Egypt.  In Palestine the only firm information I have is he was originally posted to 236 Transit Camp; which I believe was Tel Litwinsky and I have a couple of Photos of him plus a couple of other ACC lads on a beach in Tel Aviv.  Other than this I have no information about Tel Litwinsky - which I beleive was a large Transit Camp.  The camp in Palestine on one of the only documents I have was 233 Air Transport camp.

Any tips on where to got to find further info would be much appreciated.

If anyone can help or give me any tips.

Rob

It would help if you could find his Army Number.  That way you would be able to search the relevant archives for information
