Barney Green
Plt Sgt Owens plt 70's through 80's  think he was promoted to CSM not sure when as I passed out in 1980. Will remember his phrase " I'll F$%^*ng jail ya" in his Geordie accent. He used to kick my arse on the squash court to!

Last time I saw CB (Charles Barnabas) Green was when I came back to do a butchery course in 1981, he was A SSGT then.
Still remembered me!

And the last time I saw you, you were on your JNCO course when I was doing my B1.
I couldn't believe how tall you were then!!

I remember Barney Green as my Platoon Sergeant (Ownes Platoon 3/79) and was told he was promoted to Warrent officer after i had left he treated me well as i was a fellow Geordie, would love to hear from him if he still belongs to the glories living.
