Title: Searching for info on John William Lock Southern Command

Am looking for any information at all on my father John William Lock he was a memeber of the ACC southern command (membership no. S/166) and joined in Decemebr 1942. I'd be grateful if anyone has any information on where the Southern Command was or any info at all.
