Title: History of cooking for fighting forces
Post by: magpie24 on September 20, 2007, 10:21:46 PM
I might have contacted you in the past about my proposed book about cooking for fighting forces; it was then delayed a year or two but is now my priority.

I'm looking for people who have cooked in battle, and whom I could interview. Plus, the diaries or other journals of those who have cooked at a front or daily records of catering operations. Could I ask for interested people to contact me or to leave their contacts through your website? I think such people are the heroes behind the heroes and it's about time their story was told.

Any and all leads to find the bravest cooks, the most chilling or heart warming stories of cooking in the heat of battle will be most appreciated.
