Title: Death Of Taff Mathias ACC

Dear All,
I have just been notified that "Taff" Mathias died on 28th August 2008.
His funeral was at Carmarthen Crematorium on Thu 4th Sep 2008.
Taff was the Provost Cpl at Tournai and then Provost Sgt at St Omer in the late 60's and 70's and was a great lad to work with.
Sadly ill health over his later years stopped his visits to the Past & Present Functions from his beloved Wales.
RIP old friend

I am very sad to hear of this sad loss. I had a lot of respect of this soldier from my training days in 1971. He terrified me, but I dont think I was on my own. A sad loss to the corp and his family. RIP taff from Shaun Dawson

I did not know Taff, so with respect RIP, another loss to the corp.
