Obituaries / Death of Ronald William Francis Rees
« Last post by Ian E Scott on February 24, 2014, 05:44:42 PM »
It's with the saddest of news I have to report the passing of Ronald William Francis Rees on Friday last week, 21st February 2014.

He was called for National Service in 1947 as Private 19196966 and served in the ACC Malta and Tripoli Garrisons until 1952. On his return he enlisted into the ACC attached to the Hereford LI (TA) until 1960.

His father was one of the ACC originals joining from the RASC (Bakery Section) serving 1924-1960.

Funeral details to follow via the RBL Hereford and Shayne Hogg Funeral Directors, an open invite is extended to all members of the ACC.
If we have any serving or veteran members who could attend, it would be greatly appreciated,

Gone but not forgotten your duty done chef

Introduce yourself / Anyone remember Peter?
« Last post by June on January 20, 2014, 07:09:39 PM »
Just wondering if anyone remembered my hubby Peter Warlow, he joined the ACC in 1964/65 (can't remember which) I think he said he trained at St Omer Barracks and after training was sent to Osnabruck in W.Germany, with RAOC, can't for the life of me remember which barracks.... from there was stationed in Aldershot, then Pirbright Camp, Surrey and finally Shoeburyness in Essex attached to the 3rd Royal Green Jackets until 1973 when he was medically discharged, just short of his 9 years service....
