A community group that I am involved with has its 50th anniversary next year and from 10-12 July the group (about 170- 200 in all) will ‘camp’ at a private school in the Hamersmith area from Friday noon till the following Sunday evening.
Rather than have a number of us cooking and missing out on the anniversary party, we’d like someone else to cater but we can’t afford a commercial catering firm.
I suggested we should find an ex-Army Catering Corps or TA ACC team to do the catering, for cash in hand. It will be breakfasts and dinner only – no lunches.
