In the course of trawling the net I have just found this site and wonder if anyone can help.
I have an interest in millitary vehicle preservation and living history displays. The particular interest of myself and a colleague is Army Catering. We display and use a WW1 Italian Kitchen unit, and also a WW2 German unit circa 1943 (ish). I would like to hear from anyone who has used the latter type of unit especially in the 1960's, as we intend to portray the unit this year as BAOR 1960's with a Landrover IIa of that age.
Any help, tales of catering etc from this era or earlier with field kitchens most welcome
