Pitbull,

Signed! By the way it was 4 lads that we lost, Barry Bullers, Rick Middlewick, Taff Jones and Alfie Connett, all serving with the Welsh Guards with myself. Like most of those that were down there during the conflict I have never got back there to pay my respects. I was hoping to go back as one of the chosen 100 with the Falklands25 Pilgrimage in November but never got picked :(. Some day I may get back. Good luck with the petition.

Come on lads.

The ACC is letting the side down, just a handfull of the guys who have viewed this post have bothered to sign it.

This is what its all about, This was posted by a lad from another site

Evening Guys,

Got news today that I was successful in my application to join the pilgrimage in November. Still numb with Joy!!

For me personally this means the world being able to be going out to my fathers resting place finally to pay my respects as I have dreamt and always wanted to do as a child and adult.

I did breakdown thirty seconds after the news and feel finally there is someone watching above who is on my side....

It would be great to hear from any ex-Welsh Guard who may remember Dad and is also going on pilgrimage to chat with and meet the Sunday before flying out...

All the best Guys,

* - the eldest son of the late Gdsmn * 22. (Sir Galahad)

Please pass a link to the petition on to as many people as you can, and ask them to do the same. Many thanks.

Pibull, great news. I wish I was going down there with you but sadly not. Have you registered on the Welsh Guards Reunited site? it is a good site with stacks of info and photo's. There will be some of the lads possibly going down there.

I hope the trip goes as well as can be for you, say a prayer for the lads for me.

Regards

Paul
