No 4 Cookset

I am doing a bit of research into the Number 1 and 4 Cookset, I have googled etc but can find very little. Anyone got any ideas, history etc? When did they come into service, anyone got any stories of their use etc?
I am ex 4/80, Owens Plt and used them at various postings...
