40 years since we joined - vw squad venning platoon AAC ACC

January 7th 2009 marks the 40th anniversary of vw squad joining up.  As far as I am aware we were the very first group to spend all of our training in the 'new' St Omer barracks (the previous intake had started at Clayton Barracks). 

Our J/RSM was John Dick, Pete Nisic was our J/CSM

I wonder, at this time, how many are using this site and how many would like to make contact? Or share news about each other if known

In this year that St Omer closes perhaps it is time to remember it's 'first' intake.

Perhaps we can post some pictures when the new gallery is up and running

I was in FGH squads, the junior venning to your senior squad. We played in the same basketball team until I fell foul of "Bernie"
