The Independent on Sunday has launched a campaign calling for the Military Covenant to be honoured. Please see a link below to our page one coverage last Sunday.

Succinctly, the aims of the campaign are:

The Independent on Sunday wants soldiers to have the right to expect any war to be lawful, to have adequate resources, the right to be properly cared for in the event of injury and the right to know that, in the event of their death, their families will be properly looked after.

As you can see from our coverage, we are supported by service men and women, their families, senior military figures, politicians from all the major political parties and armed forces associations and welfare organisations.
