Death of a Legend
« on: September 19, 2009, 04:19:57 PM »
:'( Harry Clegg died at 1300 Hrs 14 September at his home on Bangor in Wales
A stalwart of the Corps for many years Harry will be sadly missed
My abiding memory of Harry is that when he was a young WO1 at the pre-tower block school, he won a scooter in the Sgt's Mess Christmas Draw which in those days was held in the Main Hall and promptly started it up and rode it around the corridors of the school.
A graet guy and tradesman with a wicked sense of humour, his house was called Llamedos.................now read it backwards!
Rest in Peace Harry
