Ian, Thanks for the publicity and good wishes. The ABF need all the help they can get,and i may need a medevac from the Mall !
Hope to reach 75 in aug ,and raising money for the ABF will be a fine birthday present. Thankyou for your personal sponsorship. Happy to report several ex ACC members have also sponsored me.

A Message from Denis:
Ian, Sorry to be slow, but it's the age,and the blisters!
Happy to report that i completed the Marathon in under my target time. I managed to cross the line in 6hrs,51mins,and 50 secs.
Slight delay due to a cuddle with sister in law,and later with the better half of the man who convinced me to compete.
It was the most memorable of days.
The 30 second silence to remember the victims of Boston was moving and perfectly observed.
Being overtaken by at least 4 blokes dressed as Rhinos ,and one as a Donkey, dented the confidence a tad. BUT I over took the Donkey in Parliament Square, that felt good.
The supporting crowds were as good as the adrenaline at keeping me mobile.
Much shouting of encouragement ,and a multitude of high fives, provided a much needed boost.
The variety of bands, steel bands, and home made discos, made life far from dull.
For the techies amongst you it is possible to see photos of me at various points on the course.
