Who's WHO ???

Hi Everybody (who takes the time to read this).

I look through this site and many others looking for old mates, the problem is knowing WHO's WHO.

Like a lot of us old soldiers / Chefs, computers came a little late for me, had they been as popular in the 50's as they are today we may never have lost a single friend (apart from those who change their e-mail address without informing the people on their mailing list).

To my point - there must be countless ex-corps members who submit a request on this site and the ACC Guestbook and get no replies and wonder WHY - well what i think (for what it's worth).

I take my hat off to those of you who spend hours producing these sites for us to find friends from the past, we may not have the skill to set up these sites BUT we can help make it better by putting a lot more details about ourselves so that other members know just who we are, and maybe we / you will get a better response.

So about Me:-  
Dave Button - joined Boy Service 13th Jan 1961 (5th Intake B Company).
after passing out I did a short spell at the Cambridge Hospital till I was old enough to join man service -
Oct 62 posted to Millbank Hospital (London) -
1st April 63 was Posted to 14 Fld. Regt. RA Shoeburyness Essex,
stayed with them (Dortmund 63-67) -
(Wheeton Camp Blackpool 67-68) -
(Hobbs Bks Lingfield 68 then to Sharjah 68-69) -
then on to Larkhill till 72 -
Posted to the (JLRegt RA Bramcote Nuneaton 72-75) - Did 6 months with the UN in Cyprus 74 when the Turks invaided. after Bramcote it was (Depot POW Crickhowell S.Wales 75-77)
Gurkah Transport Regt Gun Club Bks Hong Kong 77-78
1 RGJ Stanley Fort Hong Kong 78-80 - (did a couple of month in Fiji 79)
then on to Hounslow till late 80.
Then it was 9 Sigs In Aya Nic Cyprus 80-83 (did a couple of moths in Egypt).
then finished my service back at Bramcote 83-85.
